Zaytoon Academy presents a part time Aalim & Aalimah course in English and Arabic for brothers and sisters taught by qualified Ulema and Aalimat. The course is based on a classical curriculum and is designed to help beginners progress from an elementary stage to a very advanced level in Arabic and Islamic studies. The entire course is taught in English with a progressive focus on Arabic and comprises an in depth study of many disciplines including Arabic language and literature, theology and jurisprudence, Qur’an Tafsir, Hadith and character development. The aim of the course is to produce Ulema (scholars) and leaders who are competent in the Islamic sciences possessing the professional skills necessary to serve, guide and lead all members of the Muslim community with excellence. The course is suitable for anyone who wishes to serve the cause of Islam as an Imam, Khatib, Da’ee, Mufti, Teacher or just want to fulfill their obligation to seek as much knowledge about Islam as possible. Alhamdulillah the course taught at Zaytoon Academy maintains the traditional system of Ijaazah; which is the permission from teacher to student to transmit knowledge. This means that every graduate student completing this course at Zaytoon Academy is part of an unbroken chain of transmission going all the back to our beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam.
The course is taught by Mufti Adam Esmail and other qualified Ulema and Aalimat
Requirements
No detailed knowledge of the Arabic language is necessary however students should at least be able to recognise and read the Arabic script of the Qur’an even if it be slowly and without comprehension.

- SISTERS - MONDAY-FRIDAY 5.00PM-7.40PM
- 2022/2023 COURSE FEE - £300 PER TERM (3 TERMS IN A YEAR)
